A short note to perfectionists

Don’t worry about being perfect.
You’re not fooling anyone.
So, really, why try?

You’ve been imperfect all your life.
You’ve got lots of practice.
And, here’s the thing:
It hasn’t killed you so far.

So, just show up.
Relax.
Have fun.

Stop with the
over-thinking & “preparing”
the contingency planning
the risk and image management
… with the control

There’s a whole fellowship of the broken and imperfect
waiting for you to join in the celebration
of living a life at ease
with who you are

Waiting to
play
grow
learn and
be awesome
with you.

Trust me, you won’t be alone.
What you’re doing, trying to be perfect, is lonely.
There’s lots and lots of us out here.
